Channel Sales & Marketing Manager/Executive
This role will entail promoting Darwin Holiday & Leisure Resorts’ portfolio of UK holiday parks to new audiences. Currently, holidays are sold and marketed through our booking partner Hoseason’s. We are looking to expand our customer base by driving occupancy outside the main holiday periods by working alongside our booking partner, marketing to channels such as corporate events, conferences and incentives, group travel and through other new channels that the job holder should identify.
You will also work closely with the Resort Management team and local businesses to attract functions, and none holiday guests to drive memberships and group bookings.
Darwin has in place a marketing team who focus on branding and communications. This role will therefore very much focus on building relationships and driving sales within these new channels in order to increase holiday rental occupancy and revenue as well as ancillary spend at the parks.
Candidates should have both sales and marketing experience and experience of the UK holiday industry, preferably of the UK holiday park industry. Ideally they will already have contacts within these new channels and should be able to demonstrate their skills and experience in promoting businesses within the holiday sector.
Based at the Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa, in Somerset, one of the Group’s newly developed 5 star parks, you will be required to work a five day week; this will usually be Monday to Friday, but may include weekends and Bank Holidays. We provide full training and excellent salary.
