  • 1 x chef d'partie. Permanent full time position. 5 days out of 7
  • 1 x Apprentice Chef.  Full time, variable hours and days.
  • 1 x HR Assistant (recruitment & training). Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, occasional evening and weekend working may be required to assist with recruitment events, etc. Duties will include: Update of internal vacancy sheet, website and Job Centre website; Pro actively sourcing links with relevant recruitment agencies and colleges to advertise vacancies; Ensuring jobs hit google searches, Pro actively use social media to advertise vacancies; Receive, collate and issue out applications for employment; Arranging interviews; Maintain training programme; Assist parks with monitoring of training; Sourcing of training courses; Internal paperwork associated with booking courses
  • 1 x HSE Advisor. Monday to Friday 9am to 5 pm.  Key Duties include: Provide HSE advice to the North West region including regular meetings with key stakeholders.  Maintain a site audit programme to monitor compliance with HSE standards.  Prepare reports and other documentation for Senior Managers.  Ensure management is kept advised on the latest legislative and corporate requirements.  Review and investigate accidents/incidents, implementing recommendations where safety or environmental emergency

            Key skills required: NEBOSH Environmental Certificate or equivalent.   Additional Health and Safety             qualifications would be advantageous.  membership of professional bodies such as CIEH or             equivalent. Knowledge of the UK hospitality and leisure industry would be             advantageous.  Understanding of PWTAG and other other induxtry specific guidance.

Channel Sales & Marketing Manager/Executive


This role will entail promoting Darwin Holiday & Leisure Resorts’ portfolio of UK holiday parks to new audiences.  Currently, holidays are sold and marketed through our booking partner Hoseason’s.  We are looking to expand our customer base by driving occupancy outside the main holiday periods by working alongside our booking partner, marketing to channels such as corporate events, conferences and incentives, group travel and through other new channels that the job holder should identify. 

You will also work closely with the Resort Management team and local businesses to attract functions, and none holiday guests to drive memberships and group bookings.

Darwin has in place a marketing team who focus on branding and communications.  This role will therefore very much focus on building relationships and driving sales within these new channels in order to increase holiday rental occupancy and revenue as well as ancillary spend at the parks.   

Candidates should have both sales and marketing experience and experience of the UK holiday industry, preferably of the UK holiday park industry.  Ideally they will already have contacts within these new channels and should be able to demonstrate their skills and experience in promoting businesses within the holiday sector.

Based at the Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa, in Somerset, one of the Group’s newly developed 5 star parks, you will be required to work a five day week; this will usually be Monday to Friday, but may include weekends and Bank Holidays. We provide full training and excellent salary.

Identify new routes to market for holiday rentals at Darwin’s UK holiday parks.

Build relationships with key new suppliers in these channels.

Promote accommodation, activities and ancillary services to these new channels in order to increase occupancy levels and revenues across the parks.

  • 1 x Head Chef.  Permanent position, full time, 5 out of 7 dyas per week, variable hours
  • 1 x Kitchen Assistant.  5 out of 7 days per week, variable hours.
  • 1 x 3rd Chef/Chef de Partie.  Permanent position, full time, 5 out of 7 days per week, variable hours.
  • 2 x Lifeguards.  Seasonal position variable hours and days. NPLQ qualification an advantage but full training will be provided to the right person
  • 1 x Support Analyst required to join a small IT team at one of it's IT hubs within the Group. Based at Cheddar, you will assist with looking after the staff at its 17 parks within the Group.
    Duties will include: first and second line support - face to face / email / telephone. Logging and resolution of helpdesk tickets, manage and maintain Group IT systems and assist personnel when required, remote and on site support as and when required, document existing and new systems, project support.The successful candidate will have a full driving licence. This is a full time permanent role, days off are Tuesday and Wednesdays
  • 1 x bar & waiting on Assistant. Seasonal, variable days and hours. Midweek and weekend shifts available
